Organization
In cooperation with governments, real estate investors, housing corporations, social organizations, residents and other real estate users, we develop special and high-quality areas in which to live, work, shop and recreate. We do this from our central office, AM House in Utrecht, focusing on urban, suburban and mixed-use area developments. In addition, with the AM Lab, AM has an in-house concept department including concept development, market research, area economics, seniors & care and sustainability. AM is part of Royal BAM Group.

AM in retrospect
AM originated in 2002 when Amstelland Ontwikkeling acquired its industry peer Multi Development Corporation. Together, they formed AM. The company developed residential areas, offices, shopping centers, and leisure facilities in numerous European countries. Until 2006, AM was listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange as an AMX fund. In 2006, the company was split and delisted from the stock exchange, becoming part of the Royal BAM Group. In 2010, AM merged with BAM Vastgoed, and since then, they together form the area and real estate developer AM. With this, AM continues the legacy of development companies such as Amstelland Vastgoed, Wilma Vastgoed, HBG Vastgoed, and BAM Vastgoed. These four companies have been leading in the area and real estate development market since the 1980s, providing over 100,000 families with new living spaces and developing noteworthy work, shopping, and leisure facilities throughout the Netherlands over the years.
