Mixed-use project CROSSOVER receives prestigious WELL Gold Certificate

2 October 2024

The offices within the mixed-use project CROSSOVER, located at Amsterdam’s Zuidas, have received the prestigious WELL Gold Certificate from the international WELL Building Institute. This certification highlights the focus on health and well-being within the building. This was previously underlined by achieving the BREEAM-NL Outstanding qualification, which is unique for mixed-use buildings in the Netherlands. Both certifications confirm the innovative and sustainable nature of CROSSOVER, which offers unique facilities for offices, homes and social functions alike.

Sustainable innovations

CROSSOVER features various sustainable solutions such as thermal energy storage (CHP), solar energy via PV panels, water storage on the roofs, and green, accessible terraces. There is also a high-quality climate control system and circular bricks made of residual ceramic material have been used. This combined approach creates a sustainable and future-proof building that contributes to the well-being of its users. The WELL Gold Certification was achieved in collaboration with partners BAM Advies & Engineering, BAM Wonen Speciale Projecten, Equity Estate, TeamV Architecture, DGMR and the WELL Building Institute. The certification is another milestone in the development of CROSSOVER, which focuses on creating a healthy and inspiring living and working environment.
