The transformation of area development Stadswerven is in full swing. The former port area will become a new city district realized on the peninsula between the rivers Beneden Merwede and Wantij and will have approximately 900 homes when completed. At the tip of the peninsula, residential building Het Wantij will rise, offering a variety of apartments and town houses as well as a commercial space with catering destination. The new Prince Claus Bridge connects the 'new' Dordt with the 'old', historic city center. Thanks to this bridge, you can be in the heart of Dordrecht from Stadswerven in just a few minutes.
Climate adaptation is an important focus at Stadswerven. Between the houses there will be large indoor and roof gardens with trees to prevent heat stress. All projects are connected to district heating via HVC Groep.

Het Wantij
Future residents of the apartments in Het Wantij will soon enjoy a unique view over the surrounding water or on the future square. The homes have living areas from 84 to 139 m2 and, thanks to a favorable location, have plenty of sunlight. Prices range from € 540,500 to € 725,000 with no additional costs.
On the other side of the residential building, adjacent to the Werf van Schouten and Werf van Biesbosch, there will be twelve three-story town houses. In the middle of the building is a green roof garden, which provides a resting and meeting point for residents. Directly under this roof garden is a covered parking garage. All apartments and townhomes have private parking spaces and external storage in the parking garage below.
The homes are to a design by architecture firm Winhov. The roof garden was designed by Diekman Landscape Architects. Construction is in the hands of J.P. van Eesteren.
Stadswerven fits perfectly within the development task of Dordrecht. The homes within the plan meet the high demand for new housing supply in the region.
