SHARE-North Squared

SHARE-North Squared (SN2) is a follow-up to the successful European SHARE-North project where public and private parties are working together to improve and scale up shared mobility. SN2 is about the next step for shared mobility in urban development projects. Central to this are the opportunities and impact of shared mobility on affordability of urban living, Co2 footprint effects, scalability and space and resource efficiency. The project started in 2023 and runs for four years.

International cooperation

Seventeen partners from countries within the EU Interreg North Sea Region Program, from which SN2 is funded, have joined forces. The partners are: City of Bremen (DE), GEWOBA (DE), Mpact (BE), Autodelen. Net (BE), City of Helsingborg (SE), Lund University (SE), City of Aarhus (DK), Tækker (DK), City of Utrecht (NL), AM (NL), City of Stavanger (NO), Jåttå (NO), Kolumbus (NO), Gustave Eiffel University (FR), City of Mechelen (BE), Housing Mechelen (BE) and Housing Europe (BE).

Learning by doing

With our mobility approach, we are actively working to scale up shared mobility in our project portfolio. This is fully in line with our goal of being climate-positive by 2035. The SN2 project thus aligns with AM's activities and goals. AM's role and activities within SN2 are focused on learning by doing. In various area developments, we examine the barriers to scaling up and test potential solutions in practice. We do this in close cooperation with the Municipality of Utrecht as the Dutch partner.
